These tires will reduce the bike’s overall speed on the road, but that’s fine; that’s not what it’s designed for. A mountain bike’s suspension will also be significantly different than a standard road bike; mountain bikes will tend to have shock absorbers to reduce the amount of vibration to the frame and improve stability.
